BrahminsThe Brahmins were a communities that was spread all over ancient india. They were the highest of all of the four Hindu castes.
They usually are pretests or people that run cities or large community. They are responsible for religious rituals in temples. |
KshatriyasThe Kshatriyas are the 2nd highest class out of the four Hindu castes.
The Kshatriyas do outstanding service to the royals like protecting people, fighting in wars or running villages. These people are warriors or nobles. |
VaishyasThe Vaishyas are the 3rd highest class out of the four Hindu castes. They are only important people because the are the traders and they give lots of money to the Brahmins.
They do not attract any attention. Vaishyas are traders, moneylenders, farmers, merchants or business men. The men are entitled to wear sacred threads. |
shudrasThe Shudras are the lowest class of the four Hindu castes. The Shudras are usually shoe makers, farmers, sweepers, and scavengers.
Shudras are usually the poorest and most Shudras have done bad things like pretend to be in a higher class so they can be wealthier and treated better. |
